POLICIES |

RESERVATIONS: You may make a reservation either by (1) calling us directly at 540-740-4281 or (2) making the “Webervation” reservation on-line. RATES: Suite rates are posted on the “Accomodations” page of the Rosendaleinn.com website. Note that the rate is based on “double occupancy.” There is no additional fee for a child under 8-years-of-age. A fee of $25.00 is required for children 8-17, and $40.00 for any person over the age of 17. HOLIDAY AND OCTOBER BOOKING POLICY: All holidays which fall on a weekend or a “three day weekend” require a minimum two night booking. We accept single day reservations at all other times. THREE OR MORE DAY BOOKINGS: Any booking that is made for three days requires a 50% deposit made by personal check, cashiers check, or money order which must be received within two weeks of making the reservation. Bookings for any longer period require full payment in advance. MULTIPLE SUITE BOOKINGS: Bookings for two or more suites require a 50% deposit to be made by personal check, cashiers check, or money order. The deposit must be received within two weeks of making the reservation. JMU GRADUATION AND PARENTS DAY WEEKEND BOOKINGS: Special events like JMU graduation and “Parents Day” weekend require “full suite capacity” bookings, a minimum two day stay, and a non-refundable advance payment. What do we mean by “full suite capacity”? Since there is a high demand by families with children for suites which sleep three to four people, we like to reserve these suites for families of three or more. Please note that advance payment must be made by personal check, cashiers check, or money order and must be received within two weeks of making the reservation. This payment is non-refundable. Bookings for JMU graduation begin to be made at least a year in advance, and for Parents’ Day weekend at least six months in advance. CANCELLATION POLICY: We have a 10 day cancellation policy. You must call (540) 740-4281 and let us know if you have to cancel, but please do so at least 10 days prior to the date of your reservation. We are unable to accept E-mail cancellations. Guests who fail to show up will be responsible for the full amount due for the number of days they have reserved, and the credit card will be charged accordingly. JMU and others special events, as well Holiday weekend deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. If an emergency comes up or the weather prevents your arrival we will issue a gift certificate (rain check) which is good for a period of one year. PAYMENT: We accept a valid credit card to make the reservation, but ask that you make payment by personal check, travelers check, or cash when you arrive and check in. Please note that full payment for you stay (minus any deposit you have made) is always made at time of check in. ARRIVALS: Check in time is anytime between 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you plan to arrive after 9:00 pm please call and let us know. |
